Mannheim Steamroller Atlanta Concert reviews
Tour Championship Club at 17
This year, I had four passes for the entire week at #17. Each year, I have taken friends, clients, my children, etc., to the Mannheim Steamroller in the Club. Due to the obstructions, this year we had to leave the club and go down on the ground level to see the golf. This obstruction took away all the enjoyment of having these passes. I have purchased the Mannheim Steamroller entire week passes in the Club at #17 for several years in a row. Unless this is corrected, I will not buy these passes again next year. This year was rather disappointing, as there were 3 or 4 new trees planted along the base of the Club structure completely obstructing the view of the tee box @ 17, parts of the fairway, and the green at 17 from the outside area.
alice cooper stole the show
"The raskins were amazing. Mannheim Steamroller was ok. Before I could've cared a less to see them until they got on stage, then it was fricking awesome like a true rock show should be. Then Tommy Lee's drum solo was garbage. I'd have to be talked into going see Alice Cooper again, that's sad being I am a huge M枚tley fan. Alice Cooper should have been the headlining act. They played almost all their hits and didn't play home sweet home so mad. I've seen him do drum solos on YouTube and heard stories of how awesome he was, then got robbed by watching him just play along with crappy techno/rap garbage."
Mixed review
Alison Krauss delivered an outstanding performance, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The venue was nice, but parking was chaotic. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the highly anticipated Mannheim Steamroller. The set up between acts was excessively long, leading to Mannheim Steamroller taking the stage at 9:45 pm, too late for a mid-week concert. We had eagerly awaited the legendary Mannheim Steamroller but were ultimately let down. The wait for Mannheim Steamroller's performance was not worthwhile. It's evident that his voice has not been maintained, as he struggled to sing and catch his breath. Perhaps it's time for Mannheim Steamroller to consider ending the touring schedule, with respect to his age. Lastly, the outrageous price of $5 for a bottle of water was truly surprising.
Kings are still a thrill to watch!
The Mannheim Steamroller played very well and beat the Phoenix Suns, score remained very close till the end. Restrooms were clean and monitored frequently, staff at entrances, exits and food service was friendly and welcoming. The fans, as usual, are THE BEST. We cheered the Mannheim Steamroller on and it really seemed to give the players that extra jolt of confidence to win. Unlike years ago, there were no cow bell sounds, but the fans definitely were just as loud with their voices, claps, stomping, and basically a standing ovation in the fourth quarter. It was great seeing the players working as a team and passing the ball around.
It seems both sides have hit bottom...and the only direction from this point is up. It can be done. As a region, Sacramento has taken a real beating in from the economy and definitely has affected people's ability to attend games, but they should know the fans want to support the Mannheim Steamroller, want to get a new arena and want to see the Mannheim Steamroller succeed and do well, despite all the frustrating business and political problems. I really hope the Maloofs really consider staying in Sacramento.
